Mick Markowitz

Director of Business Development

Mick serves as our Director of Business Development. He is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, having served a 22 year career as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist and retiring as the Chief of Airborne Operations for 12th Air Force. Following his Air Force career, Mick held positions as Capture Manager, Lead Systems Engineer and Program Manager in the defense industry. He left industry for a position as Program Integrator for the Air Force Big Safari Acquisition Program, specializing in Wide-Area Motion Imagery and Counter-narcotics programs. After 10 years with Big Safari, Mick returned to the defense industry as Director of Programs overseeing a $700M portfolio of programs. Mick holds a Masters of Business Administration from Colorado State University and is on the Advisory Board at the University of Colorado School of Business. In his personal time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing golf and playing the saxophone.
