SAN ANTONIO, SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 – Each year, The Intellekt Group proudly supports charitable organizations in the categories of Military, Law Enforcement, and Community. Each organization is nominated and voted for by our employees. The charity with the most votes in each category receives a donation of $2000 as part of our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.

The 2025 Charity Winners are:

Project Heros First
Based in San Antonio and veteran-owned, Project Heroes First is dedicated to rehabilitating veterans through physical activity and mental health services. Their programs support both veterans and their families, with a strong emphasis on adaptive athletics, physical therapy, and psychological counseling. They also partner with UTSA to enhance their impact on the veteran community.

Police Unity Tour
The Police Unity Tour raises awareness for law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. What began as a small fundraising ride is now a nationwide annual event uniting thousands of officers in a four-day bicycle ride to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country – Kerr County Relief Fund
Following the devastating July 4th floods, the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund has been crucial in supporting local rescue and recovery. Managed by the Community Foundation, it provides grants to nonprofits and emergency responders serving the hardest-hit communities in the Hill Country.

Veteran Community Project (VCP)
Veteran Community Project provides transitional housing and support services for veterans experiencing homelessness. Their signature initiative, VCP Village, offers fully furnished, pet-friendly tiny homes paired with individualized care to help veterans achieve long-term stability.

Police Unity Tour

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude is a world leader in pediatric cancer research and treatment. Families never receive a bill for care, allowing them to focus on helping their children survive and thrive with the most advanced, compassionate medical support available.

2023

Fisher House Foundation
Fisher House Foundation offers free lodging to military and veteran families while a loved one is receiving medical care. With over 95 comfort homes near major VA and military hospitals worldwide, the Foundation has saved families more than $575 million in out-of-pocket costs.

Tunnel to Towers Foundation
Tunnel to Towers builds mortgage-free smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Each home is customized with advanced accessibility features, restoring independence and improving quality of life for America’s most severely wounded heroes.

Nets On The Run
Nets On The Run is a San Antonio–based nonprofit focused on fitness and park revitalization. Their volunteers support public basketball court maintenance, trail cleanup, and major fitness events, promoting healthy living across the city.

Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue
Noah’s Hope rescues abandoned and at-risk animals, giving them a chance at new lives in loving homes. The organization also educates the community on responsible pet ownership, emphasizing spay/neuter, training, and proper nutrition.

2022

K9s For Warriors
K9s For Warriors pairs service dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and other military trauma. Most of the dogs are rescues, giving both warriors and rescues a second chance at life through healing companionship and support.
