Intellekt Hires Heroes –
Intellekt is owned and operated by prior military personnel and is dedicated to providing the support needed for former uniformed services team members. As a small business that supporting U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Federal Government agencies, military veterans encompass over 95% of our workforce. We value the leadership skills that the military has instilled in these passionate individuals and are committed supporting the military community by providing the following resources:
Resume Support – One of the first things military personnel deal with prior to their transition from the armed forces is preparing their resumes for industry positions. Our recruiters work closely with these individuals to make sure their resumes reflect their knowledge, skills, and ability to help them get approved by our customers in support of their missions.
Benefits Mentorship – Another aspect of civilian life our newly transitioned personnel have to deal with is learning about commercially offered health and welfare benefits. From deciding on TRICARE or Intellekt’s offered medical plan, to understanding the difference between a premium and a deductible, our Human Resources representatives are available to guide our personnel through the process.
Education Reimbursement – As small business, we have helped many of our employees achieve their personal and professional goals. Our education reimbursement program helps our employees develop a career path that improves their knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as positively impact our customers’ missions.
Employee Assistance Program – Personal problems can affect the lives of employees both at home and at work, which is why our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides assessment, short-term counseling, referral, management consultation, and coaching services to our employees. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, these services are confidential, except in the rare areas where disclosure is required by law. Our EAP helps our employees manage life’s challenges so they can be healthier, happier, and more productive in all aspects of their lives.
Military Leave and Differential Pay – Employees called to military training or active duty are provided time off and differential pay to support them in their efforts.
In addition to these resources, our commitment is demonstrated by the Patriotic Employer Award we won in 2020. Issued by the Office of the Secretary of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, this award was received for our contribution to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in Americas National Guard and Reserve Force.
